Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the STRAND website, PWA, and iOS app. By creating an account, using guest tracking, or continuing to use STRAND, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use STRAND
You must be at least 13 years old. STRAND is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
Not medical advice
STRAND is a personal hair-routine tracker. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dermatological, or pharmaceutical advice. Habits, product names, and notes you enter are your own records. Talk to a qualified professional before starting or changing any treatment.
Your account
You are responsible for the email and password you use, and for activity on your account. Guest tracking stays on that device until you create an email account. Do not share your login. You can delete your account in Profile. We may suspend or delete an account that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe is used to harm STRAND or other people.
Your content
You keep rights to the photos, notes, and routine data you add. You grant STRAND a limited license to store and display that content to you so the app can work. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is illegal, exploitative, or intended to harm others. Shared product-scan names you confirm may be stored in a product cache for later lookups, without your email.
Acceptable use
Do not try to break, scrape, or overload STRAND; access another person’s account; poison the product cache; or use the app to send spam or malware. We may rate-limit or block abuse.
The service
We provide STRAND as-is. Features can change. Reminders, barcode lookup, and analytics depend on third parties and may be unavailable. We do not guarantee that tracking will produce any hair result.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, STRAND and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for STRAND in the 12 months before the claim (currently $0 if STRAND is free).

Changes
